Festival of Speed 2022
This year was our first time exhibiting at Goodwood’s Festival of Speed, showing a limited range of our SWATCOM products to the motorsport enthusiast. Many of the SWATCOM products are well suited for Motorsport, be that the SC21’s in ear passive filter helping with all the pops and bangs, or the SWATCOM Multicom helping pit crews, or the SC55 for Marshalls or race teams, oh and don’t worry bikers, comms are on the way!!
Instructional videos
Very rarely do people read the instructions of anything, our products included… so we are starting to add video tutorials to our YouTube channel (As soon as we figure it out).
SWATCOM at the CLA Game Fare
At the end of July, we attended the CLA Game Fare for the second, held at Ragley Hall Estate in Warwickshire. Excellent weather for this three-day event with 120,000 visitors attending. We exhibited to further strengthen our SWATCOM brand of hearing protection and communications, which was very well received. Nice to catch up with some of our loyal resellers, whilst also catching up with some familiar faces from around the industry – as well as meeting new people, introducing our brand to . Already booked for 2023!
SWATCOM Golf
SWATCOM Nick spends his time driving around the country stopping off at gun shops and country wear outlets with our SWATCOM shooting and outdoor range, September saw him visit our office for a catch–up and a round of golf. The meeting did not become anything more than pre–golf banter and by the time we hit the driving range for a warm up the nerves were showing. The weather was exceptional for the time of year, and The Park at Goodwood was looking and playing as wonderful as always, just a shame it had us hacking around.
SWATCOM SC55
As part of our ongoing development with our business partners and suppliers we are immensely proud to have launched our new SC55 CC passive headset. Its ergonomic design means it can be worn for prolonged periods of time without any discomfort, the SWATCOM SC55 achieves the perfect balance of hearing defence, comfort & communications, a compromise perfectly executed. The Carbon Fibre effect finish makes it a great looking headset to!
Having used numerous types of headsets around the world both digital & non digital, I was most impressed with this iteration. Having spent all morning on this unsilenced bike day with just a hand held radio which was impossible to hear 100%, the afternoon was a transformation once I had this new headset. In my opinion & 50 years experience this headset truly achieves the perfect balance of hearing defence & external noise awareness, a compromise perfectly executed. Wearing & using this new head set was simply perfect, I could easily hear everything on Circuit whilst retaining complete spacial awareness of sound beyond the Circuit, a perfect balance.

The CPSA have welcomed us into their family, and we love being associated with this great organisation. SWATCOM Sponsor British Open Sporting & Sportrap Clay Pigeon Shooting
As headline sponsors of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA), we had the pleasure of attending this annual competition held at the beautiful Barbury Shooting School, at the beginning of September. The weather was perfect and with 1,250 competitors the event ran over six days. Great to see so many competitors using SWATCOM hearing protection. Congratulations to Sam Usher, Sporting and George Digweed MBE, Sportrap for winning these events. Nice to see them both using SWATCOM Active8’s!
